About the Course
- Rio Grande Club opened for play in 2002 and was ranked #6 in Golf Digest's Best New Upscale Public Courses in 2004.
- Our Par 72 course offers five sets of tees from 3,458 yards (Silver Tees) to 7,053 yards (Blue Tees).
- Golf at 8,500 feet---with elevatational changes from 8,100 to 8,560 feet and an array of incredible views and shots.
- Our18-Hole championship layout offers two unique and distictive nine hole experiences---river & mountain. On the River Nine, you'll wind alongside and hit shots over the Rio Grande. You'll see see sandstone outcroppings thick with pine, aspen, cottonwoods, wild rose, gooseberry and wild currant; and massive rock formations peppered with the intricate mud nests of native cliff swallows. The Mountain Nine offers dramatic elevations and stunning terrain bordering the Rio Grande National Forest, filled with native wildflowers and grasses, and holes that beautifully follow the serene Alder Creek.
